Apple & Walnut Breakfast Pastries

t has been a while since I last posted. Our travel agency has been keeping me pretty busy! I have a great recipe for you today. It's quick, easy, and the kids are sure to LOVE it!

Ingredients:

1 Can Refridgerated Crescent Dough

Brown Sugar (about 1 tsp per pastry)

Apply pie spice

1 medium apple (peeled, cored, and sliced thin)

Butter (8 Tbls)

Chopped Walnuts (1 Tble spoon per pastry)

Pastry Glaze 3 Tbls powdered sugar 1 Tbls milk 1/4 tsp flavoring (I used cheesecake flavoring oil)

Makes 8 servings

1) Preheat oven according to instructions on the Crescent Roll package 2) Lay Crescent sheets out on non stick baking mat. Place one pat of butter on each crescent (wide end. 3) Lay thinly sliced apples one dough. Starting at the wide end and working towards the center. 4) Sprinkle lightly with Apple Pie Spice, Chopped Walnuts, and Brown Sugar.

5) Gently roll up crescents starting at the wide end and bake in your preheated oven for approximately 12 mins or until golden brown.

6) Mix up your Glaze and puur into a small ziplock bag. Snip a small hole in one cornder and drizzle over warm pastries.

7) Serve warm with a cold glass of milk and enjoy!
